Purpose of seminar
The purpose of this seminar was to bring together key stakeholders in the African continent and set up a network for the effective verification of foreign qualifications.
Objectives
1. Develop a joint declaration amongst participating countries to combat qualification fraud on the continent through structured relationships.
2. Set up institutional arrangements between SAQA and recognized bodies responsible for verification of learner records in countries in the African continent.
3. Develop innovative ways including digital and other time and cost effective means to verify foreign qualifications.
