ADMINISTRATOR: RATIFICATION OF FOREIGN QUALIFICATIONS (1-YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)
Requirements are:
ā¢ The most eligible candidate must hold an appropriate recognised qualification at NQF Level 5 on the 10 Level NQF in Administration, Education, Human or Social Sciences.
ā¢ An NQF Level 6 qualification on the 10 Level NQF in Administration, Education, Human or Social Sciences will be an added advantage.
ā¢ A minimum of three years of experience in administration or education is required.
ā¢ At least two years of experience is required in working with large relational databases together with data capturing or information management.
ā¢ More than four years of experience in administration or education or two years of experience in verification/comparison around foreign qualifications will be an added advantage.
ā¢ The incumbent must have a good knowledge of verification processes regarding foreign qualifications and comparison of foreign qualifications standards and procedures.
ā¢ Computer Literacy, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.
Key performance areas:
ā¢ Plan, organise and document activities to ensure the necessary focus, achievement of delivery targets and availability of performance data.
ā¢ Screening of applications for compliance and provide feedback to clients.
ā¢ Draft relevant letters, ensuring accuracy and completeness in terms of client needs.
ā¢ Undertake verification (online as well as contact based) of client qualification achievements with foreign partners.
ā¢ Help to keep information sources / reference materials up to date, known and accessible.
ā¢ Undertake activities that show awareness of and sensitivity to client needs and a sense of urgency to meet these appropriately.
ā¢ Ensure smooth transfer of registered applications by administering the daily receipt and checking of these against a transfer register.
ā¢ Maintain a proper register of the records of daily file tracking for reference and reporting purposes and identify issues that should be fed back to the team for continuous improvement.
ā¢ Attending to client enquiries and complaints and redirect to the relevant role players to be addressed.
ā¢ Render the required support to facilitate clientās needs related to authentication services.
