Defining Assessment and Evaluation.

This concept paper explores the concepts of assessment and evaluation. Both concepts are often used interchangeably and are frequently conflated. This paper provides a high-level overview and attempts to draw a distinction between the two concepts. The literature used is not exhaustive. Further research is needed to refine understandings of these two concepts to inform how they are used in the SAQA context.
