To help contain the spreading of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) SAQA has decided to close its walk-in services to the public with immediate effect. As from 18 March 2020, this measure will have an effect on the following clients of SAQA:
- Applicants for the evaluation of foreign qualifications who plan to submit applications at, collect results from and lodge queries physically at the SAQA offices; and
- Holders of South African qualifications who plan to collect such letters from the SAQA offices.
EVALUATION OF FOREIGN QUALIFICATIONS
- SAQA will receive applications for the evaluation of foreign applications strictly by mail/courier. To submit applications to SAQA all applicants must therefore make use of postal or courier services.

Instead, they must use the abovementioned contact details to arrange collection through Postnet courier services. This will be at their own cost. Once again, the option of the electronic SAQA Certificate of Evaluation applies.
