SAQA's Links to Other Organisations

SAQA has a number of social partners in its activities. Since SAQA's primary role is in the field of education and training it is natural that its major social partner is the Department of Higher Education and Training.

In addition to the direct link with the Department of Higher Education, SAQA has links with the three Quality Councils: the Council on Higher Education, Umalusi and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).

SAQA currently has links with the twenty-three Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), which it has accredited as the Education and Training Quality Assurance bodies within their sectors.
