I have pioneered Learnership implementation in the Energy Sector through:

• Establishing the Learnership system in the Energy Sector
• Established the Learnership unit in the Energy SETA through, staffing the department, drafting of policies, procedures and manuals and establishment of relevant stakeholder committees
• Organised donor funding in excess of R5.5million for the Energy SETA
• Facilitating the registration of 11 Qualifications with SAQA for ESETA
• Registered 16 Learnership programmes at NQF levels 1 – 8 with the Department of Labour.
• ESETA 2005 NSDS Targets achieved by February 2004.
• Project managed the development of curricula for 5 Learnership programmes
• Successfully managed the Apprenticeship system in the Energy Sector
• Registered and promoted 20 Skills Programmes
• Successfully managed the Implementation of ABET within the Energy Sector

I am pioneering Learnership, Skills Programme, Apprenticeships and Learning Materials development and implementation in the Mining Sector through:

• Overseeing the development of Learning Materials for Sector Qualifications
• Managing the Learnership, Skills Programmes and the Apprenticeship system of the Mining Sector
• Facilitating the registration and promotion of Skills Programmes and Learnerships
• Managing the MQA Graduate Development Project
• Managing, controlling and reporting to the MQA on a budget of R86.6million for my Business Unit
• I also managing a joint project of the MQA and the National Skills Fund worth R25, 8million.
