Occupationally-directed qualifications within qualifications frameworks
The 7th Conference co-hosted by the South African Qualifications Authority and Q-Federation Germany
The Q-Africa Conference will be held at Gallagher Estate on 22 and 23 November 2007
Q-Africa 2007 is designed to attract a selection of local and international stakeholders concerned with the development and delivery of qualifications with a specific occupational focus.
This conference takes place as the review of the South African National Qualifications Framework (NQF) draws to a close, and as an intensive effort is made to deal with skills shortages in the country through the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS), Joint Initiative for Priority Skills Acquisition (JIPSA) and a series of other key initiatives.
The conference has attracted a host of internationally acclaimed speakers addressing a diverse number of national challenges, including scarce and critical skills.
